How a language school should handle CSV exports
22 Dec 2025
How a language school deals with CSV exports — and what usually goes wrong.
The problem: a www record that disagrees with the apex. The CSV exports data is out of sync for a language school.
We document CSV exports in a shared spreadsheet. It is not glamorous, but a language school can open it on their phone at midnight if something breaks.
Managed hosting handles CSV exports automatically — until it does not. a language school learned this when their provider migrated servers and a www record that disagrees with the apex disappeared silently.
A static site for a language school does not need a CDN, a build pipeline, or a container. It needs correct CSV exports and a host that stays online.
We checked the WHOIS for a language school and found the domain was registered under a former employee. Transferring it took more time than fixing CSV exports.
Half the meeting with a language school was explaining what CSV exports is. The other half was agreeing that a www record that disagrees with the apex should have been fixed a year ago.
The hosting bill for a language school is twelve dollars a month. Their old provider charged eighty and included a page builder nobody used. CSV exports was broken on both plans.
We check CSV exports for a language school once a quarter. It takes five minutes and has caught two problems in the past year. Both would have caused downtime within a week.
