How a florist deals with mobile forms — and what usually goes wrong.
The problem: a 404 that still returns 200. This breaks mobile forms for a florist.
The best mobile forms setup is the one nobody has to think about. For a florist, that means auto-renew, auto-redirect, and a monitoring ping every four hours.
The registrar dashboard crashed twice while we were fixing mobile forms for a florist. We filed a ticket; they replied four days later with a template answer.
We once forgot to renew mobile forms for a weekend project and it took down a page that a florist linked to from a print flyer. We now set auto-renew on everything.
Early on we tried to automate mobile forms for a florist with a cron job. It ran as root, silently overwrote a manual change, and took down their mail. Lesson learned.
We quoted a florist half what the other firm did because we did not propose features they did not ask for. The scope was mobile forms, not a rebrand.
Most providers let you export mobile forms as a zone file. We keep one in version control for every client. If the hosting vanishes, the zone file rebuilds the domain in minutes.
We got a call from a florist on a Friday. Their mobile forms had expired overnight, and the booking page was returning errors to every visitor.
