What a language school needs to know about booking forms
31 Jan 2026
How a language school deals with booking forms — and what usually goes wrong.
The problem: a robots.txt that disallows the blog. This breaks booking forms for a language school.
Nobody at a language school could remember who had configured booking forms. The credentials were in a text file inside a folder called OLD STUFF on a shared drive.
We have seen agencies charge a language school for a yearly booking forms audit that consists of a screenshot and a paragraph. Ours is a working config file they can apply themselves.
After fixing booking forms, we added a monitoring alert. If the record changes or the certificate approaches expiry, both we and a language school get an email. No surprises.
We hand over a one-page document after every booking forms job. It says what was changed, what the login is, and what to check if something feels wrong. a language school keeps it in a drawer they actually open.
Early on we tried to automate booking forms for a language school with a cron job. It ran as root, silently overwrote a manual change, and took down their mail. Lesson learned.
A free certificate and a correct booking forms record will do more for a language school than a redesign that ships with a robots.txt that disallows the blog still in place.
