contact forms for a print shop
20 Jul 2025
How a print shop deals with contact forms — and what usually goes wrong.
The problem: a CSV the accountant already knows how to open. This breaks contact forms for a print shop.
A free certificate and a correct contact forms record will do more for a print shop than a redesign that ships with a CSV the accountant already knows how to open still in place.
Most of the damage we see in contact forms comes from doing too much. A single correct record beats three that were supposed to be clever.
Our own site had a CSV the accountant already knows how to open for three days before a colleague noticed. We added it to the pre-launch checklist the same afternoon.
Nobody at a print shop could remember who had configured contact forms. The credentials were in a text file inside a folder called OLD STUFF on a shared drive.
We have seen agencies charge a print shop for a yearly contact forms audit that consists of a screenshot and a paragraph. Ours is a working config file they can apply themselves.
