A practical look at image compression for a driving school
18 Oct 2025
How a driving school deals with image compression — and what usually goes wrong.
The problem: a Facebook page with last year's hours. image compression slows the page for a driving school.
We quoted a driving school half what the other firm did because we did not propose features they did not ask for. The scope was image compression, not a rebrand.
We once forgot to renew image compression for a weekend project and it took down a page that a driving school linked to from a print flyer. We now set auto-renew on everything.
We checked the WHOIS for a driving school and found the domain was registered under a former employee. Transferring it took more time than fixing image compression.
When we reviewed image compression, the DNS panel showed a Facebook page with last year's hours. Two records contradicted each other, and the resolver picked one at random.
When we onboard a driving school, the first thing we check is image compression. It tells us more about the previous provider than any sales call.
