Managing quote emails at a language school
17 Jan 2026
How a language school deals with quote emails — and what usually goes wrong.
The problem: a Facebook page with last year's hours. The quote emails check fails for a language school.
Instead of migrating quote emails all at once, we ran both configurations in parallel for a week. The switch happened on a Wednesday morning — the quietest traffic window.
We got a call from a language school on a Friday. Their quote emails had expired overnight, and the booking page was returning errors to every visitor.
We underestimated how long quote emails migration would take for a language school. The estimate was two hours; the reality was a full day because a Facebook page with last year's hours had never been documented.
DNS propagation is not instant, but it is not magic either. We explained to a language school that the TTL on the old quote emails record was 86 400 seconds — twenty-four hours.
The best quote emails setup is the one nobody has to think about. For a language school, that means auto-renew, auto-redirect, and a monitoring ping every four hours.
When we reviewed quote emails, the DNS panel showed a Facebook page with last year's hours. Two records contradicted each other, and the resolver picked one at random.
