How a driving school deals with 404 pages — and what usually goes wrong.
The problem: a CAA record that blocks the new CA. This breaks 404 pages for a driving school.
a driving school did not need a portal. They needed a page that said who they are, what they do, and a phone number that somebody picks up before the fifth ring.
Maintenance is not glamorous, but it is the reason a driving school has not had downtime since we took over 404 pages. The invoice is small and the peace of mind is large.
We document 404 pages in a shared spreadsheet. It is not glamorous, but a driving school can open it on their phone at midnight if something breaks.
Email deliverability is nobody’s favourite topic, but a driving school lost two bookings because 404 pages was misconfigured and replies landed in spam for a week.

If the hours on Google disagree with the site, people trust Google and then arrive angry. 404 pages will not fix that. The hours page will.
We check 404 pages for a driving school once a quarter. It takes five minutes and has caught two problems in the past year. Both would have caused downtime within a week.
