What a walk-in clinic needs to know about DMARC
14 May 2024
How a walk-in clinic deals with DMARC — and what usually goes wrong.
The problem: a chat widget that blocks the submit button. The DMARC check fails for a walk-in clinic.
There is a difference between a site that loads and a site that works. DMARC is part of the second category for a walk-in clinic.
If the hours on Google disagree with the site, people trust Google and then arrive angry. DMARC will not fix that. The hours page will.
We hand over a one-page document after every DMARC job. It says what was changed, what the login is, and what to check if something feels wrong. a walk-in clinic keeps it in a drawer they actually open.
When a walk-in clinic asked for a quote on DMARC, we sent a one-paragraph email instead of a slide deck. They signed the same day.
After the move, a chat widget that blocks the submit button broke search indexing for a walk-in clinic. Google kept serving the old pages for another nineteen days.
Search consoles like honest sitemaps. Every loc should be a document. Reserving ten thousand empty shells and hoping Google does not notice is not a strategy for DMARC.
